More than 5,000 students have participated UCAM charity event today in welcoming the university, organized by the University.
The festive day began with a massive Eucharist, presided by the Vice Chancellor of the Catholic Religious Affairs, José Alberto Cánovas, which has encouraged new students to get involved in the project of Catholic teaching.
Cánovas has highlighted the benefit of this event, whose proceeds will go in full to the Campus Work Peru, sponsored by UCAM, through the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II.
After the religious ceremony, the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, is aimed at students and teachers and asked them to seek the wisdom and fight to become good professionals and, above all, good people.
"Dear students, take advantage of human and Christian training offers you the university.
The society's future is in your hands, "he said.
Then a Traca Valenciana, caught by the Chaplain of the UCAM, Luis Emilio Pascual, has launched the full recreation program, in which there have been competitions in soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, football human struggle gladiators and a climbing wall.
The offer also included a session of Body Combat class and style, by the gym Sentral and a giant paella.
