Murcia City Council has approved a project to begin the work of burying the overhead power line that lies between Juan Carlos I and Espinardo Cemetery.
Urbamusa, the developer responsible for municipal works, made preparations to bury the power line, coinciding with the works of the North Coast, leaving everything ready to bury the power line Iberdrola.
The project is part of the burial of the lines of high and medium voltage Rectors, which is working Urbanism and Iberdrola.
On the other hand, has also approved the construction of a stormwater interceptor in the same area with the objective of the Rambla del Espinardo cemetery go under the North Coast.
To do this, there will be two large concrete box 5 meters by 1.2 meters.
This is an interim measure until full completion of the works of North Water Infrastructure Plan, which will carry storm water from the north to the river area.
Work to prepare the burial of the power line and stormwater interceptor will start soon.
The implementation period of the works, to be held at the same time is one month and the budget of 820,000 euros.
