More than 1,300 students from the University of Murcia involved these days in the University Welcome Tournament, which has doubled the number of people registered in the past year.

The sport with the greatest acceptance was the football, with over 500 registered with 64 teams, followed by football 7, with 400 students, and basketball, with 130.

This championship, which is part of the activities of the University Welcome Week, will run until 23 October, when the finals will be played at the premises of the sports arena Espinardo campus.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 29 in the University Community Centre, on the same campus, and during several trips will be raffled among attendees.
