The new home garden in the hamlet of San José de la Vega will in short time with a new street lighting, as the Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the project and contract specifications for these work.
The fixtures to be replaced are open aluminum sheet and what will be exchanged for other luminaries closed for clean glass.
The improvement is more significant because not only improve the quality and level of lighting, but at the same time we contribute actively to improving the environment.
Also, the lights for the garden will be of decorative type with incorporated auxiliary and reducing flow, the lamps are sodium vapor, and columns, made of sheet steel, have a conical shape.
New Homes Garden has a total area of 3,600 square meters which can find playgrounds, sports area and popular games and a place where they can celebrate outstanding cultural and musical events.
The period of execution of the works, according to the project shall be three months from its allotment, and the total construction cost will amount to 240,000 euros.
Remember that these actions are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and Autonomous Region for a total of 82 projects during 2008 and 2009, for a total of 13.1 million euros.
