Soccer fields and farmsteads Beniaján will soon feature a new artificial turf.
The Governing Board has awarded the company a provisional Public Works SL Serrano Aznar installing artificial turf on the football field Beniaján.
The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, will invest 437,000 euros in this project.
The company responsible for the installation of artificial turf on the football field is the JV Grupisa Alquerías Infraestructuras SA and Ferrovial Servicios SA, has provisionally approved by the Governing Board.
This project will provide 441,000 euros.
Work to install artificial turf on two soccer fields will begin shortly.
Also be equipped with artificial turf soccer fields Guadalupe, Llano de Brujas and Boatmen.
Murcia is Spain's second city with the largest number of football fields, namely 48.
Of total football fields, seven have artificial turf (which must be added Beniaján, Stables, Guadalupe, Llano de Brujas and Boatmen), seven with natural grass and 34 are of land.
Moreover, the City Council has approved the provision of sports equipment fitness for the Sports Palace for an amount of 16,400 euros and cardiovascular sports equipment for technical rooms Prince of Asturias flag, with an investment of 51,700 euros.
