Murcia City Council, through the Department of Infrastructure, led by José Arce Pallares, continues its major renovation project and installation of street lighting in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality of Murcia to improve the quality, respecting the environment.
On this occasion, the proceedings come to the villages of La Alberca, head of Torres and El Raal.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved the award of the renovation of street lighting in those districts for a total of 244,400 euros.
According to forecasts, the renovation will be completed in early 2009.
The fixtures to be replaced are open aluminum sheet and what will be exchanged for other luminaries closed for clean glass.
The improvement is more significant because not only improve the quality and level of lighting, but at the same time we contribute actively to improving the environment.
Remember that these actions are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and Autonomous Region for a total of 82 projects during 2008 and 2009, for a total of 13.1 million euros.
