The project intends to execute the Ministry of Development to build the highway Santomera-Zeneta will cut off the farms and hamlets of El Raal, by not providing any links to ensure accessibility to these districts in the east of town.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, held this morning a meeting with the presidents of municipal boards Stables, El Raal and Zeneta, accompanied by businessmen from these locations, to discuss the need to ensure adequate access to these villages.
House has conveyed its willingness not to allow the continued incommunicado detention, as stated in the project of the Ministry of Development.
Chamber added that the City Council "claim the route of this highway which developed the Department of Public Works and Highways by consensus with the residents of these districts."
This project secured a direct and convenient link from El Raal, Stables and Zeneta to that stretch of highway, through the creation of four intermediate nodes of connection.
The Mayor has insisted that the City was not going to let this piece of highway, in addition to reaching more than two years late, preventing a good connection to these villages.
Motion of the Popular Party in Parliament
So is caught in a motion submitted by the Municipal People's Party Group to the next plenary session, which will be asked to rush the project that includes enough connections that foster good communication.
Despite the statements made from the Delegation of the Government, the fact is that the existing project currently does not provide the necessary access to these villages.
