The University of Murcia signed today, March 17, at the headquarters of the Rector, an agreement with the Association of Audiovisual Producers Murcia Region in which both entities will promote R & D in the audiovisual sector.
The project, which is open to participation by technology companies, research centers and Administration, provides technical cooperation for development and research of new technologies for the management and production of audiovisual content.
Innovation in design formats and interactive audiovisual content, the conversion of traditional advertising system, multimedia technologies, multicast or commitment to high definition with the new encoding formats are some of the issues addressed in the agreement.
The president of the Association, Jesús López Guillén, stressed the importance of the agreement for the development of audiovisual sector in the Region of Murcia, the idea that the president agreed, José Antonio Cobacho, for whom the present time requires the commitment to modernization and technological innovation.
The event was attended by vice chancellors of Institutional Relations, Manuel Vidal, and Communication, Maria Angeles Esteban and members of the Association.
