The City continues to support cultural events that keep alive the traditions of the municipality (17/09/2008)

The Governing Board has given approval for a grant that was granted to the Band musical 'The Muses' in the hamlet of Guadalupe.

This aid, amounting to 24,000 euros, will allow the group to continue its activities and getting to keep alive the traditions of the municipality.

'The Muses' consists of 60 musicians, mostly teenagers and young adults that have trained at the School of Music by the group in existence since 1984.

This set, which parades in the major processions of Holy Week, has participated in almost every edition of the National Band Competition 'Ciudad de Murcia', earning several awards.
