More light and less pollution.
This is the objective of the City of Murcia, which is undertaking a major project major renovation and installation of street lighting in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality of Murcia to improve the quality, respecting the environment.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has this morning approved projects and contract specifications for the renovation of public lighting in the villages of Cabezo de Torres, Los Ramos, Los Martínez del Puerto, strut and Esparragal by a total of 198,292.1 euros.
The fixtures to be replaced are open aluminum sheet and what will be exchanged for other luminaries closed for clean glass.
The improvement is more significant because not only improve the quality and level of lighting, but at the same time we contribute actively to improving the environment.
Remember that these actions are part of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and Autonomous Region for a total of 82 projects during 2008 and 2009, for a total of 13.1 million euros.
The objective pursued is to get to people who live in districts a higher quality of life by making precise works that promote the improvement.
The agreement will continue growing on more and better services in both quality and quantity.
