CB Murcia coach is pleased with the team has been formed, as all players "respond to what we expected"
Manolo, after two weeks of work.
What is the assessment of development do the preseason?
Well, say that in principle most of the bulk of the work he is doing the trainer.
As always in all the preseason, the important part right now is physics, which players to acquire a physical tone in both the concept of resistance as in the concept of force, enabling them to enter with some confidence and some momentum to track workouts.
The group works really well, all players have been in fairly good physical conditions to make the preseason and really the mentality of people is pretty good.
It is a team that has to be constantly demanding to work, is a team that already the mentality is very good in day to day.
In that sense, it is also very positive that almost from day one has been around the team, possibly missing close to a player in the squad but is also very important that from day one especially for the training track, be picking up the defense concepts, concepts of attack ... is the whole team.
In that sense, roughly assessment is quite positive so far.
The team will stay focused all week on Sierra Nevada.
Tell us a little work plan is to stay there and objectives ...
The precise purpose in Granada is a further step in the fitness of the players.
Now I really almost the entire basis of the work is a very aerobic base, much of the player is taking a bit of aerobic capacity, strength and what is going to do in Granada is to increase the intensity of training to go to a phase one little more intense, where the level of demand and by the trainer is enough and by us too, because they intensify the number of sessions of basketball, which until now been virtually reduced.
In Sierra Nevada, just to stay focused, we will be able to step up and almost double the number of technical sessions.
The idea is to get away almost with a physical basis and pretty solid, allowing us to compete the following week, and having as the fundamentals of team play more or less introduced.
Did you caught any of the members?
No, surprisingly not.
I think that really all the players have responded a little to what we expected.
We knew more or less what kind of players were and especially what their attitudes on a daily basis.
In that sense, there is none that has surprised me, because the information was all correct.
They are players who like to train, are heavily engaged in training and coaching for me so far and also the fitness coach, is still very easy to train.
That is, not that there's no surprise.
All respond to our expectations.
How are they working the two homegrown (Dani Martinez and Juan Manuel Sánchez Manzano) who are at your command in this preseason?
Good, both also made it last year and Dani say except at some point, had not had much contact for training with the first team.
Noticeable changes, especially noticeable physical changes in both and I believe they have been well integrated.
Maybe Dani is the player that physically have more resemblance to the rest of the ACB team, ie, Dani does not clash in any way in the physical work and is a player who has worked very well this year.
I think it will be in the orbit of the first team throughout the year, more often than last year.
And Juan, well, I think it's a player that needs to work hard physically.
He notes that, although it has also evolved this year, the concepts of coordination, motor strength and power ... it cost a lot and change for him is great.
It's good to have been working with us this spring, because he will do understand that the coaches work every day to prepare throughout the year is critical.
Maybe it's that I have to work a little harder and especially in appearance.
