The Institute for Youth in the Region of Murcia has been included in the Consortium for Presence and Promotion of Youth Hostelling (Spanish Network of Youth Hostels, RESET) hostel in El Valle.
It will later this year when adherence to materialize Hostel National Consortium of El Valle, now fully restored.
To date, the RESET has 231 hostels throughout Spain, including that of Calarreona in Eagles with large numbers of visitors as evidenced by his numbers.
In the year 2007, totaled 15,400 Calarreona shelter overnight.
The youth hostel in El Valle will become operational later this year after rehabilitation.
The renovation has brought a new organization of the premises.
Thus, the center will have room, multipurpose rooms, TV room and Internet, pool and new access.
The hostel will have 50 places of accommodation, after the refurbishment, they are divided in double rooms.
Incorporation into the Spanish Network of Shelters is a distinction in terms of quality and also offers the opportunity to participate in fairs and promotions nationally and internationally.
The RESET has been established for over eight years, in June 2000.
The main objectives of this organization is the presence of hostelling the autonomous communities in the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) and the Youth Hostel Federation of the European Union (EUFED) and any other international organization that serves Disabled youth interests, cooperation and mutual understanding.
These objectives are compounded by promoting the mobility of youth in the area of the country through youth hostels, or partners own network of autonomous community member of the Consortium.
Last June was held in Zaragoza last Annual General Meeting of RESET, which decided the composition of the new Executive Committee composed of Directors General for Youth from various regions, including Murcia, Extremadura, Basque Country, Castilla- La Mancha and Andalusia.
During the first year the director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, is vocal on the executive committee of RESET.
