Murcia will be represented at the World Championships for firefighters.
Two members of the Fire Department of the Municipality of Murcia will participate from next Sunday through Sept. 2, at the Tenth World Firefighter Games to be held this year in the British city of Liverpool.

Abellán and Firefighter Jorge Ortín German Moreno compete in the categories of career guidance and vertical respectively.
This world championship firefighters first convened in 1990 in Auckland (New Zealand) and has since been held biennially, bringing together thousands of firefighters from around the world doing all kinds of athletics.
In this edition will gather in Liverpool more than 5,000 firefighters will compete in tests such as a marathon, climbing, paintball, cycling and other sports.
