The regional government has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the University of Murcia (UMU) to cooperate during 2008 and 2009 for initial training of teachers they have on pre-university levels.
EI purposes of this Convention is the development of programs on "Studies and scientific reports on the development of education in the Region of Murcia", "specialization courses and degrees of the University," Cooperation in Education between innovation projects university departments and non-university education centers "and the" Action Training with Associate Professor of Secondary Education. "
The Institute of Education Sciences at the University of Murcia promote the development of these programs, by virtue of its role in promoting, implementing and disseminating educational research concerning the quality of university education and knowledge of the Education System Murcia Region
The collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the University of Murcia in initial and continuing training of teachers is essential to enable communication of teachers of different levels that shape the educational system.
