The hamlet of Sangonera the Seca and the great estate of the Centre Integrated Transport (Citmusa) improve their sewage through a municipal project for the construction of a collector of sewage and stormwater.
This project is part of Hydraulic Infrastructure Plan for South Coast provide a solution to the disposal of rainwater-faecal Sangonera the Seca and new developments that are taking place in the area.
It so happens that the current collector Seca Sangonera the hydraulic capacity is exhausted.
This is a large pipe diameter, 1.600mm, a length of 1,218 meters and cost about 4 million euros.
The great collector take the sewage from the right bank of Reguerón, it connects with the collector reaches the Wastewater Treatment Station (STP) of Murcia.
Storm water, when diluted, will be discharged directly to Reguerón channel.
The project includes the construction of three pumps for the sewage discharge and three pumps for lifting of stormwater and the construction of a footbridge over the Reguerón for which the collector will run and which may be used at the same time by pedestrians.
The project implementation period is 12 months.
The Governing Board approved the contract specifications for open procedure to build this infrastructure.
