The Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport in the Region of Murcia approved the Amendment n º 86 of the General Plan of Murcia in the hamlet of La Ñora, after making several modifications to adapt to current legislation, which affects 11,359 square meters of urban land, whose development was provided by a detailed study, according to the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia July 11, 2008.
The purpose of the amendment is to define a unit of action for the non-consolidated urban land and urban land declared as live the rest of scope for the consolidated urban land, in order that the development costs of new plots were distributed equally among the owners.
The most significant changes in the project to adapt to the current regulations have been the reserve of land for facilities required by the increase of residential floor area, as well as compliance with the comments proposed by the Segura basin, so that delineates public water.
Background
Murcia City Council initially approved the October 27, 2005 the said Amendment No. 86, requesting at that time tell sectoral agencies, including the Directorate General of Housing, Architecture and Urbanism.
Then, the autonomous region, through the advice of the Coordination Commission for Regional Policy of February 19, 2007, and the Segura basin outlined several deficiencies that needed to be remedied, leading to an order which suspended the granting final approval until the proposed changes comply with the provisions of the legislation.
Once corrected these incidents, the Minister of Works, Housing and Transport in the Region of Murcia, José Ballesta, finally approved the Amendment n º 86 of the General Plan of Murcia, which will allow equitable distribution of development costs on more than 11,000 meters of affected among the different owners of plots, as called for in the city of Murcia.
