The Department of Youth and Employment, headed María Dolores Sánchez, donated to the NGO of the Local Police in Action Blue sewing machines and grinders for occupational project aimed at women Savanes region in Togo.
The NGO has been in contact with the Department for the donation of sewing machines and grinders for a job training program that Blue in Action is taking place with the women of Savanes.
The objective of this project is to promote the incorporation of women into the workforce and promote gender equality among the population of the African region.
The initiative also works Caritas International, the Diocese of Dapaong and Lasalle Catholic missions.
One of the cornerstones of this project is the training of women in the manufacture of textiles, a sector with high demand in the country.
Youth and Employment donates 25 sewing machines (Refrey brand, Singer, Alfa, Euromac, Seiko, Mitsubishi ...), two grinders and a stone grinder which are obsolete and are at the center Employment Initiatives Fica .
