The Governing Board gave the green light to the signing of an agreement between the City and construction company Edival.
Through this agreement 147 houses will be free to be protected, thus swelling the Municipal Housing Plan.
The development is situated in the hamlet of Cabezo de Torres.
Prices will be those established by the Housing Plan 2005-2008, adapted to the surface and type of each of the homes.
To access the purchase of one of these buildings will have to submit an application.
The City Council will ensure equal opportunities for stakeholders through a public lottery, but preference shall be registered in the municipality of Murcia.
The Municipal Housing Plan has so far set up 782 homes for young people, which are already delivered to their owners 463 in 18 sales, while other 96-5-promotions-are under construction and 107 more-in 5 promotions, are pending license to begin construction.
The remaining 116 homes are in the process of writing project.
Incorporating Future projects and Housing Young Young Sangonera La Verde, are 5,000 children under 35 who can access a protected house in Murcia.
In addition, Murcia soil has managed to build 13,000 housing.
The Housing Plan is driven by the city of Murcia and try to respond to the needs of young people under 35 and other protective groups preferably disabled, women victims of gender violence and large families-who have difficulty accessing a house on the open market.
Thus, they can buy a decent home at an affordable price.
