As has been done since the 2002-2003 school year, the City of Murcia will again sign a cooperation agreement with the Autonomous Community of the Region, through the Ministry of Education, Science and Research, for the education of children with special educational needs in infant schools in the municipality of Murcia.
It should be noted that the City of Murcia book every year a certain number of seats in the seven school children of municipal ownership.
Also, the City will receive a grant of 90,000 euros, from the hands of the autonomous region, to fund the recruitment of technical assistants and educators.
The next year 2008-2009 will be 26 children with special educational needs, of which 9 have a year old and the remaining two years of age.
These boys and girls with special needs have a special focus on the seven primary schools in the municipality, in addition to regularly perform the Autonomous Community site visits to monitor different children.
Murcia City Council each course booking a place in each class, so that annually offers 40 places for children with special educational needs.
