El Palmar have new green areas twice the size of the garden of saltpeter.
The Governing Board today gave initial approval to a partial plan of 480,000 square meters, which allow the construction of 2,100 new housing units, of which 100 are of OPV, and give the hamlet of 47,700 meters square area green.
In addition, El Palmar get equipment 47,000 square meters, 11,000 square feet of commercial area and 2,156 parking spaces, 53 of them for people with disabilities.
This new development is located near La Paloma, beside the new road MU-31 (By-pass) to join the Murcia-Cartagena motorway (A-30) to the highway El Palmar-Sewer (MU-30).
Will also have a new development's neighbors Bacons Bridge.
The new housing will be located in the north of the hamlet, the road between Alicante and future Avenue East.
The surface of this partial plan is 940,349 meters square, with enough soil to build about 5,000 homes, 600 of them to VPO.
The Governing Board gave the green light to submission to public information project, so interested people can make allegations.
Moreover, the Board of Governors approved the reorganization of the seamounts located in Cabezo de Torres.
This is a special plan, which has been approved initially, with an area of 98,762 meters square and allow the construction of 500 homes plus rearrange existing ones.
This project, located at the back of the church of the parish, Torres will provide Cabezo an area of parkland equivalent to the Floridablanca gardens.
In addition, the plan initially approved part of an industrial estate in Gea y Truyols, developed by the City Council office, with an area of 112,000 square meters with 11,000 square meters of green areas and 5,565 square feet of facilities.
