• The agreement was ratified today at a meeting held with Lola Sánchez Juan Luis Aparicio, CEO of the Foundation
The Department of Youth and Employment, headed Lola Sanchez, will collaborate with St. Patrick's Foundation in the implementation of the Model European Parliament.
This program's primary goal is to promote awareness of European citizenship and the culture of constructive parliamentary debate among young people.
The partnership agreement was ratified at a meeting this morning that the councilman of Youth and Employment, Lola Sanchez, held this morning with the manager of the Foundation San Patricio, Juan Luis Aparicio.
Undoubtedly, it is noteworthy that this collaboration is another important actions being carried out by the Department in the development of European youth.
Program development, to be held from next September, will focus on the recreation of parliamentary sessions between students from the municipality, aged between 16 and 17 years of age (these are students of 1 school, and 1 for media training cycles).
At meetings it is proposed that young people (who will feel MEPs for a day) to express their ideas, listening, dialogue, debate and reach consensus on current issues.
The final conclusions of these sessions will be presented in Parliament.
