More than a thousand students at the University of Murcia used the bike campus during the months of March and April.
The largest number of users came from the faculties of Biology, Medicine and Education, while the lowest number came from Economics and Business, Labour and Veterinary Sciences.
Moreover, the Vice President for Business and Infrastructure has invested 150,000 euros in various water saving projects in their schools and services.
The showers have been fitted with flow reducers, artichokes also replacing other environmental classic, while urinary already have individual flow meters with flow reduction.
The taps have been fitted with timers new, less flow, having also involved the installation of signs to raise awareness of the need for water conservation.
