The Governing Council has given the green light to the collaboration between the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and Athletic Club Volleyball Murcia 2005 for 50,000 euros to assist in the costs for organizing the final phase of the Champions League women's volleyball.

The organization of this event last April, resulted house in the city of Murcia an event of utmost importance to the world, in which quotations were clubs and elite players nationally and internationally, helping this event to promote and develop sport in the region.
