Several streets of downtown will soon feature new lights.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the award of the renovation of public lighting in several ways from the town of Murcia Eugenio Estrada, for a total of 117,252.40 euros.
The replacement and renovation of public lighting is an improvement rather than significant, as it not only improves the quality and level of public lighting in Murcia, but at the same time helping to improve the environment, a priority of the government team the City of Murcia.
In this case, the renovation is an hour to downtown, where they will remove a total of 147 points of light "arm-227 other projectors.
This increase of public lighting in the center of the city of Murcia will be held on the following streets: Vinadel, Conde de Roda, Manresa, Bathrooms, Lorenzo Pause, Ayllón, San Miguel, Portillo, San Antonio, Sculptor Roque Lopez, Bando de la Huerta, Doctor Marañón, Virgen de la Esperanza, Junterones and Battle of Flowers.
The ratio of lights per capita in the municipality of Murcia is a lamp for every five people, while nationally the average is a streetlight every ten inhabitants.
