Since many families that family circumstances, employment and personal experience difficulties in providing adequate care to children who are in charge during the summer vacation period, the City of Murcia, through Social Services, will to launch a new project of reconciling work and family life in order to provide an outlet for families to it, while developing their work, may have fully served their children.
Thus, the Governing Board of the City of Murcia has decided to hire the service of achieving the vision of reconciling work and family life in school holidays, to Copedeco.
The objectives of this new project, which will benefit some 50 children aged 3 to 10 years old, primarily focus on fostering the development of adequate space for children to reconcile work and family life and encourage profitability of resources in ways that can benefit the greatest number of families and children.
The project will run throughout the month of July, 9-17 pm in neighborhoods Infante Don Juan Manuel and San Juan de Murcia.
All children may participate in leisure activities typical of the summer, there will be tasks of school support to those children who need it, will enhance the culture of personal hygiene, healthy eating is encouraged and structured transportation system that enables the transfer of all children from their neighborhood of origin to the place where the program develops.
Program activities will be led by four monitors, which will have two more support in times of food, plus it will also work for social service professionals of the City of Murcia.
