The Choir Fernández Caballero meets on Wednesday 75 years, giving rise to a succession of acts that will run until June 2009.

The opening ceremony will be held in the Meeting Room of City Hall, next Wednesday, from 20.30.

Throughout the ceremony, the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, be appointed Honorary President of the Choral Society and attendees can enjoy a concert by the Youth Choir and Section Head.

Then make a wreath at the bust of Manuel Fernández Caballero, in the Plaza del Romea.

Over the coming months will be held six concerts, with dates to be determined.

These take place at the Regional Assembly in Murcia and Lorca.

It should be noted that the concert will close the 75 th anniversary and will be played by all groups that make up the Choir: Choral small, Section Child, Youth Choir and Section Head.

Also celebrate the Feast of the choruses, with which it will honor all those who have been or have been linked to this group during the 75 years of its existence.

Another activity is a commemorative exhibition that will collect scores, trophies, gifts, photographic material, old records and videos related to the Choir.

Also be published four commemorative compact discs (one with RTVE, another anthology, one performed by the Section Head and one by the Youth Choir) and published a teaching kit on the 'Pictures Murcianos' Emilio Ramirez and a commemorative book directed by journalist Pedro Soler.

Traveling to Rome Choir members Fernández Caballero (early next month of December) to sing in the Plaza of Spain to the Pope and a solemn mass eve of the Immaculate Conception in the church Santa Maria Vallicella (where he is buried Cardinal Belluga).

Will also move to different Spanish cities invited by various regional houses Murcia in those cities.

Other events to commemorate this anniversary is a delivery of awards, the presentation of new logo and new website Choir and tributes offered by various public and private entities to this choral group.
