IU + Councillor for the City of Los Verdes Murcia, Esther Herguedas, accused the PP of "passing the roller and ignore the efforts of the opposition" during the plenary sessions.
Herguedas referred in particular to the rejection of PP to one of the motions of IU + Greens in urging the consistory to increase citizen participation in municipal activities.
Among other proposals, the mayor raised the video recording of the plenary sessions for broadcast live on local website, creating forums for discussion and publication of the initiatives of the political groups on the internet.
"The PP would only say that were left channels of participation in Murcia," said Herguedas noting that this game shows and "giving back" to new technologies and has "a lack of interest because the people involved."
