The Department of Youth and Employment and Development Cooperation, have designed a new city program aimed at providing young Murcia the opportunity to participate actively in the development of volunteer work in disadvantaged countries.
The destinies of these actions, which will be held in July, August and September to take place in countries that carry out projects implemented through NGOs Murcia.
For this year the City is planning projects in Morocco, India, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru.
Through this experience is to provide young people between 21 and 30 years of training techniques work on the ground for development cooperation projects and to facilitate contacts between young people from different countries.
The municipal program for Youth Volunteers in cooperation arises from the existence of a great social sensitivity regarding cooperation and solidarity with the less developed countries: the constant demand for information on volunteer positions in international cooperation projects in the City Council and demonstrated.
Once at their destination, the young volunteers to carry out cooperation functions consistent with their professional profile, engaging in direct action with the native population and participating in social-type programs that run in your area.
Cooperation actions will be developed with special emphasis on the most disadvantaged and poor.
Preferably take place in the countries of Latin America, North Africa and the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.
