One year, the City of Murcia is preparing to commemorate the World Environment Day to be held on 5 June.
Thus, with the intention to involve the entire school community, the Department of Education, which directs Megía Pilar, has announced the XII edition of the poster contests, comics and photography environmental issues, based on the good reception they have had previous editions and the quality of the works have been presented.
This year, the competitions should be based on the theme "The environment in the municipality of Murcia."
On the other hand, is called the seventh edition of the "Green School Award, which is to reward those schools that participate in the activity" Green Schools' Environmental Education Program of the Department, and most have been involved in improve their environmental behavior throughout the school year 2007-2008.
Contest rules.
The competition is to carry out a lineup whose content will refer to environmental issues in the municipality of Murcia.
In the embodiment of the posters can use all kinds of materials and painting techniques and presented in A-3 size.
Open to all primary and second students enrolled in any public educational institution, private or entered the city of Murcia or students studying at a center outside of the municipality reside there.
Posters are made individually, and each school will submit a maximum of 10 original of each of the categories to be established.
The work of each school choice will be delivered or sent to the Department of Education, before May 5, 2008.
In every poster appear prominently a slogan, message or title shall also be on the outside of a sealed envelope containing the author's name and age, school and grade to which it belongs, and the address and phone number and person center contact.
The categories established are:
First: First Cycle of Primary Education (1 º and 2 º).
Second: Second Cycle of Primary Education (3 and 4).
Third: Third year of primary school (5 and 6).
Fourth: First cycle of ESO (1 º and 2 º).
Fifth: Second Cycle of ESO (3 º and 4).
There will be three prizes per category consists of a diploma and a bicycle for the poster award and a prize of a set of books worth 160 euros and commemorative plaque for the school, whose students have won first prize.
If a college were awarded prizes in first place in two or more categories, the set of books be circumvented between schools whose students have obtained the second prize.
