The City Council has taken a further step for the Planning Department has a new building where all services are located.
The Governing Board gave its approval to the proposed implementation of the building, designed by Acciona.
The works for construction of the new building began three months ago and is already excavated the land to begin construction of basements.
The new building will be located in Management Abenarabi Avenue, corner of Marqués de los Vélez, a municipal plot of 6,733 meters square.
The constructed area will be 13,466 meters square, to which one must add basements 27,649 meters square.
The new headquarters of Management will have four underground levels, each with a capacity for 200 vehicles.
Two of them will be used for parking by residents, will use a schedule and another with the file management and car parking Planning official.
The ground floor will occupy an area of almost 4,000 square meters and will be public service, waiting room, cafeteria and exhibition of documents of interest to the public.
In the other plants-six on the ground floor, are located all management services.
The building will feature interior courtyards for all offices have natural light.
The building will be accessible through the streets Marqués de los Vélez and Abenarabi and the facade will be glass.
The design of the new headquarters of the Management has been designed by the architects Andrés Perea and Paco Sola.
The City will invest over 21 million euros in this work.
The implementation period is 24 months.
