Tourism hired two technicians to work on a quality project (05/05/2008)

Tourism Consortium 'Murcia, Crossroads', which is part of the city of Murcia and Autonomous Community has hired two technicians to continue working on a tourist quality project aims to implement best practice systems in all establishments the municipality that have to do with tourism and retail, corporate event planners, hotels, restaurants and taxis.

This program, called SICTED, is intended to ensure that Murcia is a quality destination.

The Convention Bureau of the City of Murcia has the quality Q, the local Tourist Information Office with the quality standard ISO 9000 and the Department of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcárcel directing, is working to get the Q for Quality.

A committee of 'Crossroads' made this morning interviewing seven candidates for the post, and two people have been selected.

The two new coaches will begin work soon
