Murcia City Council will work with the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT) to support its work of providing moral and material assistance to the victims and their families, as well as raise public awareness to gain support for the victims of this type crime and express the revulsion at the terrorist activities.
The Governing Board has given approval to the partnership agreement to be signed between the two entities, given the intense activity carried out by the association, which has programs to support associations, direct intervention program for victims and a social awareness program that aims to promote education for peace.
The municipal contribution is specified at 9,000 euros, which will go to support the activities promoted by the AVT, whose mission is to try to repair the damage of any kind suffered by the victims, for which she has gained wide recognition as a result of social the work of helping the victims and their families.
