Promoting education and change beliefs and attitudes toward drug use is the primary objective of the Plan of Prevention of Drug Dependence in the Induction Program for Employment, which will benefit about 165 young people between 16 and 20 years old .
Since they are young people who need to be inserted in the labor field, as well as some of them are at social risk, it is necessary to carry out social and educational activities falling under the conceptual framework for drug prevention and education health, which constitute a reference work.
The purpose of this program are:
Change beliefs and attitudes of young people at risk of school failure on the drug.
Teachers provide flexible and versatile materials for integration into the educational programming.
Provide parents of young people guidelines and strategies that promote prevention of drug abuse in the family and social environment.
After analyzing their beliefs and attitudes towards drug use (through questionnaires), introducing teaching units on alcohol, snuff, cannabis, peer pressure and social skills that are taught by faculty on a cross, built into educational programming.
The program also includes training and retraining of teachers involved in its development and parent education.
