The City Council is available to the Department a plot to build a school in El Palmar (21/05/2008)

The residents of the hamlet of El Palmar are going to have a new nursery school and primary school.

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the provision of the Directorate General for School of the Ministry of Education of a plot of 10,000 square meters.

The center, which will be located in the Partial Plan The Farm in the hamlet, added to the six public schools than is currently the parish, as well as another center will include a concerted plot, donated by the local administration, more than 6,300 square meters.

Since the construction of education facilities is not a competition of the Department of Education, from the City of Murcia is making great efforts in the transfer of public lands that expand educational opportunities in the municipality of Murcia.
