The Department of Culture and Space Molinos del Rio Stables convened the Second National Contest of Pop Lemon Clips collaboration with Radio 3, Sun Music, & Space Cajamurcia Xtra.
In this second edition has increased the prize money to receive the best video of 2008, amounting to EUR 3,000 (two thousand for the filmmaker and a thousand for the producer).
It has also created a second prize of 1,500 euros (thousand for the director and the rest to the producer).
The only requirement is that the works are aesthetically framed in pop music and that its duration does not exceed eight minutes.
The deadline ends on June 21, European Music Day, the date chosen by the space-Stables River Mills to join the celebration of this date.
The awards coincide with the celebration of the XIII edition of the Lemon Pop Festival, next September.
Furthermore, the selected works will be organized an exhibition at the Mills River area.
Last year the prize went to the director Domingo González Redondo for a video to 'Lloyd I'm ready to be heartbroken "by Camera Obscura.
The competition there were about 200 videos, some featuring established and recognized artists and bands.
The contest is one more example of support from the City of Murcia is paid to the Spanish independent pop music and new bands and groups working to open a gap in the music scene.
