Structural analysis of hydrological models and systems of water resources in arid areas has been the subject of study of the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia (UMU) by Francisco Cabezas Calvo-Rubio, who was editor the National Hydrological Plan.
This research, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, addresses the problem of structural analysis, defined as aspects of the sensitivity of the models, data and disturbances, uncertainties and validation of its operation.
The dissertation is also responsible for the possible effect of aridity and torrential accounts in the operation of optimization and simulation models applied to water resources systems.
This scientific work was led by Professor of the University of Murcia Melchor Senent.
