The University of Murcia offer professional certifications in ICT (09/02/2016)

The University of Murcia (UMU) has created the Center for Professional Certification in Information Technology and Communications (CERTIC), which will provide both the preparation and the conduct of examinations for certification in different areas and ICT companies.

Professionals and students who wish to obtain any of the certifications offered can make exams directly on the premises of the University of Murcia.

With the center, developed by the Faculty of Computer Science and the Department of Information Technology and Applied Communications (Attica), the UMU responds to the growing demand for these certifications by professionals, who may complete their education and increase their employability.

Thus, Murcia educational institution contributes to improving competitiveness in the sector and raise the low level of ICT certifications in Spain, which, according to some data, is around 10% of the European average.
