Using the sophomores Baccalaureate make manuals History of Spain through the traces left in them has been the subject of study of doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia María Dolores Alarcón Hernández.
The research, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, analyzed data from a sample of one hundred students from 52 institutes in twenty municipalities in the region of Murcia.
The data, collected according to the conclusions of the doctoral thesis, correspond to the courses 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, addressing the first one to study the manual and in the second some dimensions of teaching and learning.
He indicates the author of the study the textbook in the classroom must be understood linked to two other sources of information, which are the notes and the use of Internet.
Centered he adds manual can identify three uses: in addition to the notes provided by the teacher, as a reference to the notes made by the student and as a total book.
The footprints left by students on the books are mainly underlined, clarifications and amplifications and outlines or summaries, added the doctoral thesis, which was supervised by professors at the University of Murcia Nicolás Martínez and Ramón García Marín Varcárcel.
