Change Murcia has filed a motion in Parliament tomorrow that proposes developing a plan to gradually replace pesticide use in parks and municipal gardens allowed in organic farming products and other harmless to health and the environment ambient.
The municipalist training has also called for the non-use of herbicides containing the active ingredient glyphosate, including the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as probably carcinogenic to humans substance is ensured.
The council will defend the motion, Sergio Ramos, it recalled that there is legislation at national and Community level which provides a strategy for the sustainable use of pesticides by reducing the risks and proposes the use of non-chemical methods.
