More than 100 trees replanted in the vicinity of the River Segura in the program of environmental awareness of the City of Murcia (23/01/2016)

More than 100 trees have been replanted this morning in the vicinity of the River Segura, in collaboration with ANSE, and with the participation of 184 people registered through the Volunteer Bureau.

The Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro Corchón dependent, has started activities for the coming months under the program, it presented a few days ago, training, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the municipality of Murcia.

From this January to May 2016, the Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, has prepared various activities to enhance the environmental, such as seminars, itineraries and tours of the White Majal training.

Ponds for amphibians conditioning, cleaning of the river environment, evaluation of Majal Blanco trails, wildlife census in the Huerta de Murcia, are some of the activities scheduled within the environmental volunteerism.
