Grade Students in Pharmacy of the UCAM learn to manage a pharmacy on the university campus itself and by the third year, before taking the further step of performing practices in pharmacies from the fifth year running.
This will be possible thanks to the Hall of Pharmacy that opened today on the campus of Los Jeronimos and has had with representatives of the Catholic University and HEFAME.
The Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Brotherhood bring its drug dispensing program UNICOP with which they can work in their practices students of this degree.
Through these practices students will know first hand the different functions that can be performed on it.
The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, welcomed the launch of this class and gave "Congratulations to the members of this degree and recalled that the ultimate goal of this type of facilities to improve teaching quality and being always at the service of students. "
For his part, President of HEFAME, Carlos Coves, said that along with the UCAM also "have launched the Course in Comprehensive Management of the pharmacy, as it, apart from being a health facility, is a business, and so it seemed important business training, especially practical, with teachers who are mostly HEFAME ".

The Deputy Dean of the Degree in Pharmacy of the UCAM, Pilar Zafrilla, stressed that "students will learn how to program a pharmacy dispenses how, ultimately, all concerning pharmaceutical care is managed, so that when students practices carried out at the University, are few real experts in this area. "
Pilar Zafrilla also wanted to clarify that "we do not sell products, do simulations of real cases, especially pharmaceutical indication and all professional services that can be performed in a pharmacy in controlling blood pressure, education, health, etc." but it is not made public sale.
