Progressive training and the faculty of the Catholic University of Murcia with personal dedication to research activities is a key addition to the capacity building in scientific, technical and humanistic research of the institution status.
Therefore, the active UCAM until next February 26, the call for pre and postdoctoral own course for 2015-2016 aimed at graduates, graduates and doctors contracts.
Both calls are framed in the Research Plan of the University, through the empowerment program of Human Resources.
From the Research the importance of the continuity of this initiative to support research and its importance in the face of the strengthening of the institution as a national and international reference research center stands.
"With the implementation of this contract system, the UCAM has currently a promising pool of researchers," says the Vice President for Research, Estrella Nunez.
Both types of contracts will have a duration of 12 months, renewable on an annual basis, up to a maximum of four years in the case of contracts predoctoral and postdoctoral five.
Predoctoral contracts
Predoctoral contracts constitute a performance directly linked to development of research activity at the University.
The researcher will develop its activities in the university or in conveniados centers under the guidance and direction of a researcher at the UCAM.
In addition, you must do his doctoral thesis in one of the official doctoral programs of the International School of Doctorate of the UCAM.
His dedication to research tasks will be exclusive, but may also participate in educational activities to a maximum of 80 hours per year, collaboration will be certified for the purposes of curriculum concerned.
Postdoctoral contracts
After obtaining his doctorate, he ends a stage research training, and begins a more oriented development and specialization phase leading to the consolidation of the investigator.
Through this call for postdoctoral contracts, the UCAM is to attract talent to the region while facilitating insertion into the labor market of researchers with recognized scientific career and for this, the researcher should propose the creation of new research UCAM in one of the following areas: Physical Education and Sport, Educational Sciences, Legal Sciences and Business, Social Sciences and Communication Sciences Polytechnic (Telecommunications, Information Technology, Architecture and Civil Engineering), Health Sciences Humanities or Food Technology and Nutrition.
Proposed projects must be original and have a strong innovative component.
