The Doors of Castile Center, in its commitment to those films that usually fall outside the theaters, program for the months of January and February the cycle of cinema today, dedicated to the best titles of the riskier and contemporary cinema staff.
The films shown are those recent films that have not been shown in commercial theaters, but which are subject to interest the most demanding cinephile.
The cycle starts tomorrow Tuesday 'green bicycle' feature Haifaa Al-Mansour has garnered several awards at major festivals.
Projections continue with 'Beasts of the Southern Wild', winner of Best Film and Best Cinematography at the Sundance Film Festival.
February begins with the English comedy, 'Tourists (Sightseers)' by Ben Wheatley and continues with 'Nader and Simin, a separation' by Asghar Farhadi, film with which he won the Golden Bear for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival.
Feb. 16 will screen 'Café de Flore', with which Jean-Marc Vallée obtained thirteen nominations Genie Awards, including best picture and best director.
The cycle closes on February 23 with the Polish film 'Ida', of PawelPawlikowski, a drama that has also accumulated several awards at major festivals worldwide.
The projections included in the cycle will be held on Tuesdays from January 19 to February 23, at 20 hours.
The sessions will take place in the Auditorium of Center Castilla doors.
Admission is free until all seats.
