The Aula Magna of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Murcia (UMU) welcomes tomorrow, Friday, January 15, the regional stage of the Spanish Mathematical Olympiad for High School students.

The Olympiad, which promotes Spanish Royal Mathematical Society, is organized in the region by the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Murcia and the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).

The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, chair, at 10:00 am, the opening ceremony, which will also be attended by the Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora (the Seneca Foundation finances the activity) and the Vice Chancellor of Students and University Extension UPCT, Francisco Martinez.
