The Minister of Culture and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo met with President of the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden, Juan Pablo Hernandez to start working on the implementation of new partnerships to maintain and disseminate best huertanas traditions and customs, folklore and popular culture of the region.
The first agreement that has been closed is because the collaboration of Culture in the embodiment, first, of the gala presentation of candidates for Queen of the Garden, that will take place on January 31 at the Auditorio Victor Villegas Murcia.
It will be a gala in which the candidates will be protagonists and where the intention of the Federation of Clubs is that it shows how young girls in their daily lives, and which later became the you can do with traditional clothing, in other aspects related to the party.
Noelia Arroyo explained that this agreement is only the first step in a larger project, "an agreement that will include cross-government actions on cultural, tourist, economic, social and educational matters, since one of the goals is to keep the quarry, which new generations more aware of our traditions are not lost and that children in the future, the parties continue to live as we do today. The Minister and President of the Federation of Peñas also agreed to work in carrying out activities such as conferences and exhibitions, as well as studying the possibility, with the City of Murcia and the Ministry of Education and Universities, to perform some type of extracurricular activity schools related to folklore.
Noelia Arroyo stressed the intention of the Community to "make a deeper outreach and promotion of our traditions and our popular culture, which goes beyond the city of Murcia and the Region".
