The Municipal Group Socialist councilor, Juan Vicente Larrosa, Wednesday again urged the City of Murcia to meet the demands of the collective fire of the town, and pointed out that they do not ask salary "but decent conditions of work that go through increase the staff they have. "
Larrosa has insisted that it is possible to satisfy these requests and stated that "for years not been summoned squares and has harmed the security services of the municipality, both firefighters and police".
"We are pleased that, at last, be put up thirty fire places, although we seem insufficient. We believe it is necessary that these places are carried thirty first January negotiating table to come out as soon as possible and so I we have requested in writing to Councilman Jose Guillen. In addition, consideration should be a new allocation of positions for 2017, "said the Socialist councilor.
From the Municipal Socialist Group reiterate their support to the group of firefighters and asked the session to avoid the strike.
"There is still time for negotiations before the end of the year. You can not allow this group has to go to that extreme to demand favorable conditions to perform their work," said Larrosa, who pointed out that the firefighters themselves say that the strike will not affect citizens.
"During these years of crisis firefighters have taken their share of responsibility and have endured conditions and lack of staff. Now that the PP speaks of recovery, these professionals should recover the rights that have been lost," he concluded.
