A fireworks show tonight preceded the premiere of the new lighting Manterola Pasarela, which has been attended by the Mayor, José Ballesta, who accompanied the councilman of Promotion, Roque Ortiz, and Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, along with fellow councilors Jose Guillen and Rebeca Perez.
During every day of the holidays it will be projected on a transition bridge between the different colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink) and white.
So, Murcia and visitors can see the bridge of a different color depending on the time for passing through the gateway.
The Department of Public Works has installed a total of 17 new LED projectors that replaced the former 24 and represent a 80% energy saving.
This new lighting footbridge project is part of the government team led by Jose Ballesta and seeks to recover the Segura river and its surroundings passing through Murcia and promote it as the backbone of the city.
Thus, Murcia already has two unique places that have a special lighting system that allows you to change color: annex to City Hall and the Pasarela Manterola building.
Moreover, the City continues to implement measures that reduce energy consumption and therefore CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and light pollution, while improving the lighting.
