The Governing Council of the University of Murcia approved the budget proposal for next year, rising to 204.4 million euros, an increase over this year's 10.91 percent today.
Large numbers of these budgets and goals were presented by the Vice Chancellor of Economics, Sustainability and Health Sciences, José María Abellán, which he described as "expanding moderately" and has advised caution in its implementation by the uncertainties They may appear in the international economy.
Abellán explained that the objectives which intends to fulfill the governing team include stabilization and promotion of the staffing and research staff and administrative and service staff and the expansion of scholarships and student participation.
There are also those who pursue the promotion of transfer and research, strengthen the internationalization of the university, enhance innovation and training of teachers and administrative staff and services and the promotion of cultural activity.
The improvement in the budget for schools and departments and the renovation of the physical and technological infrastructure of the institution are two of the objectives.
The vice president explained that the budget growth has been possible thanks in large part to the multi-year financing agreement with the Autonomous Region.
The budget proposal will now go to the Social Council of the University of Murcia, which is the body responsible for final approval.
