The Governing Board gave the green light to the specifications for the new service contract maintenance of bicycle lanes and bicycle infrastructure in the municipality, with an investment of 100,000 euros.
The intention is that a single contractor is responsible directly and specifically the work of adaptation and conservation of cycle paths and cycling trails, the horizontal and vertical signs, as well as bicycle parking hairpin, guaranteeing repair, cleaning and replacement .
This contract will save over the existing formula currently hiring each work independently, in addition to considerable savings in time and management costs for the Municipal Office of the Bicycle.
Similarly, work will be done faster and more efficiently because it is a particular feature set for the service and maintenance of these cycling infrastructure.
The contract guarantees the perfect maintenance and condition of cycle paths and bicycle parking will last for two years and an extension of up to two years.
