The Student Council of the University of Murcia (Ceumar) supports the efforts that both the Rector of this institution as the Faculty of Medicine made to resolve the problem of clinical teaching at the same time it has come out against the protest campaign promoted by the students of the Catholic University.
Through a statement, the Ceumar notes that the demands of public universities are backed by royal decree "which states, quite clearly, that there should only be a link between a health center and an academic institution."
Student representatives claim the application of that legislation, which would prevent, say, the problems that have been recorded so far to agree on the practical students of public universities and private.
The Ceumar notes, moreover, that both the Spanish Federation of Medical Students and the State Council are in line to claim that keep their fellow Faculty of the University of Murcia.
On the video made by the students of the Catholic University, he laments its contents, "because with it he shows a real ignorance of the problem."
